The employment administration in Finland is being reorganized, the new model set to be implemented on January 1, 2025. Employment and economic development services (TE services) will be transferred from central government to municipalities on 1 January 2025.

Municipal Employment Services from 1 January 2025

On 1 January 2025, employment and economic development services (TE services) will be transferred to municipalities and TE Offices will be abolished.  Employment services will become a basic service provided by every municipality.

What does this mean for jobseekers? From 1 January 2025, you can directly contact Pyhäjoki Municipality in matters concerning employment. Employment services will be organised jointly with other municipalities in the Raahe employment area, including Pyhäjoki. See more at Raahe employment area

We already know that starting from 2 January  2025 employment services will be available at Ollinmäentie 3 (Green Energy Tower), Pyhäjoki.
