Student welfare
Student welfare refers to activities that promote the wellbeing, health and safety of pupils and students, both at a community and individual level.
A joint multiprofessional student welfare team is responsible for community-based student welfare, which plans, coordinates and evaluates activities to promote wellbeing and school attachment, as well as deciding on practices for monitoring absenteeism. In the case of individual pupils, a multidisciplinary team of experts is convened as required by the situation and agreed with the pupil and the parent or guardian. Effective student welfare creates the conditions for good everyday life and learning.
