Early childhood education

Pyhäjoki municipality offers children high-quality and comfortable early childhood education, which supports parenthood by promoting children’s growth, development and learning. Early childhood education and basic education form a continuum linked by pre-primary education, which is provided to six-year-olds. The municipality organises child care in day care centres and in family day care, as well as at the child’s home.

The application should be submitted no later than four months before the day care is needed. In urgent cases, the application must be submitted no later than two weeks before the child needs a place in day care.
