Pyhäjoki Library

The most colourful library in the OUTI Libraries cluster is the hub of the community. Pyhäjoki Library welcomes everyone to read, borrow, spend time, meet friends and acquaintances, join in various events and arrange events yourself. The first library card and borrowing is free of charge. Pyhäjoki Library was a finalist in the Library of the Year 2024 competition.

Opening hours

Monday 11 am - 6 pm
Tuesday and Wednesday 11 am - 8 pm
Thursday 11 am - 6 pm
Friday 11 am - 8 pm

Staff on site on the eve of mid-week public holidays 11.00 - 16.00.

You can search for and reserve books and renew your loans in the OUTI e-library.

Pyhäjoki Library charges:

Copies and printouts: A4 €0.40; A3 €0.50

Scanning service (pdf for email only): €0.40 / time

You can pay in cash or by the most common bank cards. Fines can also be paid online in the e-library.
 

Interlibrary Loans

We can loan the book, CD or DVD from the other library if it can't be found in our or in other OUTI Library. The fee is usually 2€ per item.

Pirttikoski on-duty library

Come and read new magazines and borrow new books or catch up with friends at the on-duty library at Pirttikoski Village Hall (former school). The library is open usually on the first Monday of every month at 12.30pm. Ask more information from the library!

Yppäri on-duty library

Come and read new magazines and borrow new books or catch up with friends at the on-duty library at Yppäri School gym every other Thursday 15.00 – 16.00. Ask more information from the library!
