In line with this principle, our upper secondary school focuses on media, entrepreneurship and internationality.
The media emphasis is reflected in the Kuulumiset newspaper – which for many years has been produced by students and distributed to local residents – as well as in photo and streaming services, such as broadcasting the municipal council to a wider audience.

The youth companies of upper secondary school students organise the annual regional Pyhäjoki Fair. Held in the autumn, the event attracts 500-1500 visitors as well as a large number of companies, organisations and other actors in the area.

Pyhäjoki Upper Secondary School is Erasmus+ accredited. In addition to the annual camping school, there are numerous other trips around Europe. The school's unique learning methods and international cooperation networks also attract visitors from around the world every year.

Besides a strong community and a homely atmosphere, the school also offers its students a free driving licence among other things.
